Questions
Is the timenow.online clock widget free?
Yes. The clock and countdown widgets are free for any website, blog, school or business page. There is no sign-up and no limit on page views.
How do I add a clock to my website?
Choose a city, pick a size and theme, then copy the code and paste it into your page. In WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or Blogger, use a Custom HTML or Embed block.
Can I make a countdown to my own date?
Yes. Choose Countdown, then My own date, and enter the event name, date, time and time zone: a product launch, an annual meeting, a webinar or a wedding. Holiday countdowns move to the next year automatically.
Can the countdown repeat every month or every year?
Yes. Under Repeats, choose every month on the same day (for example a sale on the 15th), every month on the last day (month-end or payday sales), or every year (an anniversary or an annual 11.11 sale). The widget moves to the next date on its own.
Can I put a countdown bar at the top of my website?
Yes. Choose Style: Top bar. It is a slim 44-pixel bar for the top of your site, with an optional message and a button, such as a Black Friday countdown with a Shop now button. In WordPress, add it with a Custom HTML block at the top of the Header pattern.
Does the widget slow down my site?
No. Each widget is a small page of about 6 KB that loads lazily, after the rest of your page, and runs with no ads and no tracking cookies.
Does the clock adjust for daylight saving time?
Yes. Times follow the IANA time zone database, so daylight saving changes happen automatically on the correct date.
